5. Under no circumstances must a customer attempt to try and claim a refund of the full item RRP at the non-Discount Depot UK branded retailer. Protocols are in place at retailers to identify this and is classed as attempted fraud or fraud, which the retailers will vigorously pursue against any offender. Some items are discreetly marked to help us identify this

10. Amendments discount-depot.co.uk reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use the Website after any modifications or updates, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

Terms & Conditions - Trade Sale Terms

This section applies to all sales that are made on www.discount-depot.co.uk website and any business with Discount Depot UK/JTMR Group limited. This applies to any parcel, load, item, bulk/pallet sales that have been purchased.
This website www.discount-depot.co.uk is provided by JTMR Group LTD (referred to as "Discount Depot UK/JTMR Group Limited/we/our/us"). As a user of this website on behalf of the business you represent (referred to as "you/your/the purchaser"), you acknowledge that any use of this website including any transactions you make ("use/using") via this website are subject to the terms and conditions below.

We reserve the right to change / update these terms and conditions at anytime : All Sales are Final and no returns or credit will be allowed for previously undiscovered defects or discrepncies in description.

1 .The goods sold on this section of the site are sold as 'trade sale' and as a customer purchasing via this site you are not covered by legislation that protects 'non trade' consumers, this is regardless of the grade of parcel sold. All merchandise is sold without any form of warranty or guarantee and full liability for any future issues with all merchandise will sit wtih the purchaser not Discount-Depot.co.uk. Please ensure you read and understand all the terms and conditions and grades of stock PRIOR to you making a purchase, you will not be compensated if products develop a fault after reasle by you to a third party or during future use by you. The stock is sold as a 'parcel' and as shown on the listings we make every effort to ensure the stock is correct but you may get over and under stocks on some pallets and we are unable to offer refunds for missing items.

(a). End of Catalogue / Clearance stock

This is surplus end of range stock which is believed to be in good condition. It may suffer from soiled or damaged packaging and normal manufacturing defects. No warranty or guarantee whether expressed or implied is attached to any goods sold.

(b). Customer Return Stock

This comprises of merchandise returned to the SOURCE COMPANY* as being faulty or defective in some way which for any reason cannot be returned to the original manufacturer. Also merchandise which has suffered from accidental damage within the SOURCE COMPANY’S distribution system. The merchandise may be damaged or it may simply be packaging damage. Part or incomplete items include multipart merchandise where one or more components is missing. In general this category will include damaged and used stock, no guarantee as to the breakdown of damage stock whether expressed or implied by law will attach to any such sale. 
(i) That the name of any source company or of any associated firm or company or any trader mark belonging to any such firm or company will be removed by YOU from the merchandise or marked in accordance with Discount-Depot.co.uk instructions prior to resale.
(ii) that on no occasion will any catalogue or other promotional literature belonging to any source company or its associated firms and companies be used in any way whatsoever in connection with the resale of the merchandise.
(iii) that all the MERCHANDISE sold to YOU thereunder is sold without guarantee as to fitness for purpose and on the understanding that the purchaser will ensure that the goods are made safe and serviceable before re-sale. No warranty whether expressed or implied by law will attach to any such sale. It is the prerogative of a purchaser to inspect the merchandise offered for sale. Discount.Depot.co.uk will assume that such an inspection has been made. Arrangement to inspect can be made with appropriate warehouse staff.
(iv) THE PURCHASER will indemnify Discount Depot UK/JTMR Group LTD from and against any claims whatsoever resulting directly or indirectly from the resale of THE MERCHANDISE by THE PURCHASER
(v) no returns will be accepted from the purchaser, and no credit will be allowed for previously undiscovered defects, discrepancies in description or in quoted quantities.
(vi) no statement made by any person as to the quality or condition of any merchandise on offer is to relied upon for the purpose of making an offer to purchase.
(vii) All stock is sold “ex warehouse” Discount Depot/JTMR Group LTD Staff will provide assistance to load stock if required. Collection costs and arrangements are the responsibility of the purchaser. (i) Any customer returning goods to any retail outlet of a SOURCE COMPANY in order to obtain a full refund will be liable for criminal prosecution by the SOURCE COMPANY. 

2. SAFETY TESTS
(i) TOYS.   Toys must be accompanied by a CE mark and the name and address of the EUROPEAN company responsible for the mark. Toys containing small parts as defined in BS 5665 must carry the statutory warning ie NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 3 YEAR. Plastic bags containing toys must be over 38 microns thick and should carry a child warning label. Toys should not be sold until the following checks have been carried out. Completeness of toy to enable safe assembly including instructions as necessary. Ensure that there are no sharp points or edges and that internal components are not exposed other than functional parts. Toys using low voltage mains power adapters are checked to British Standard 3456 before resale. It is fundamental to the conditions of sale that checks are carried out and that they are satisfactory PRIOR TO RESALE.
(ii) AUDIO
Merchandise is sold on the basis that it is repaired or reconditioned as necessary PRIOR TO RESALE. Safety tests complying with current legislation to CE standards required by law must be carried out on merchandise and any remedial work completed and PAT tested BEFORE IT IS OFFERED FOR RESALE.  

3. The title to each of the items or goods covered by this invoice is not legally transferred until complete payment has been made to Discount Depot UK/JTMR Group LTD. SOURCE COMPANY : A source company is designated as the company originally retailing stock to the general public. Removal of Catalogue numbers : It is a standard requirement of supply that all traders adhere to the rules and regulations laid out below. These rules form an addition to our standard Terms & Conditions laid out on our Invoice.

All Catalogue Numbers or markings must be either crossed out with a permanent marker or obliterated from any and all cartons before re-sale. On no occasion will any catalogue or other promotional literature belonging to any catalogue or high street store be used in connection with the re-sale of any item, or be in view of or be left unattended in a public place where stocks are being sold by the trader or anybody acting on his behalf

There must be no use of the original SOURCE COMPANIES name or associated companies in any form for any reason in connection with the re-sale of stock.

4 .Storage Charges
If goods are not collected or delivery made within 5 working days storage charges may be added at the discretion of Discount Depot UK/JTMR Group LTD. The cost will be based on volume of goods held and also the length of time the goods are held (please contact us for current costs) whether the goods are paid for in full or in part. Discount Depot UK/JTMR Group LTD also reserve the right to cancel any order not collected within two working days of the date of your order. 

5. Prams, Pushchairs and Nursery goods Safety Checks
All new and second hand prams and pushchairs must now meet BS EN 1888:2012. Older prams and pushchairs may be marked BS 4139 or BS 4792. Many are subjected to very hard wear which may have caused them to become unsafe. 

The current European Standard for car seats is ECE R44.03 No car seat should be sold without the proper fitting instructions. I authorize Discount Depot UK/JTMR Group  Ltd. to keep this agreement on file and apply these policies to all future transactions made between the Company (Discount Depot UK/JTMR Group Ltd) and myself WARNING : Any trader found not complying with any of our terms and conditions or safety requirements will not be supplied with any stocks and may also face legal action. There will be no second chances.

 6. GDPR : As part of the new GDPR regulations when completeing your order you accept and allow us to use the details you provide to complete your order which may include passing details to shippers. We do not and will not sell or pass your details to any third party for any other reason. Should you wish your account to be reomoved please emails us at admin@discount-depot.co.uk at anytime. 

 Making A Purchase By using this website you confirm that you are doing so in the course of business and not as a consumer and have authority to bind any business on whose behalf you use this website. If you have made a mistake and cannot correct it in the shopping cart contact us before the order is processed / shipped and we will correct the mistake if possible.
When confirmation of your order is received this is to indicate we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
 

Tax Charges For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is added. EU customers registered for VAT and can provide us with the correct details are zero rated. For orders placed outside the EU we charge VAT and refund once a certified bill of lading detailing our Invoice reference is recieved. 

Invoices  For customers with who pay via invoice, please ensure that payments are completed within the terms set within your invoice. Under no circumstances do we accept witheld payments for any reason. For the avoidance of doubt, invoices should be paid in full without delay under all circumstances. Failure to pay within the set time will result in interest added, outstanding amounts passed to collection agencies, account suspension and refusal of future business. 

Delivery All deliveries are made by 3rd party delivery partners selected on their suitablilty for the items to be delivered. We are bound by their terms of service which are also passed onto the buyer once collection has be made from our premises and delivery has commenced. Parcel deliveries are delivered by specialist parcel carriers such as DHL and DPD, this list is not exhaustive. Pallets will be delivered using various freight carriers. Prices of deliveries vary and we encourage you to check current delivery rates with us before completing your purchase. Although we do and are able to send pallets to residential addresses, please be aware that pallet freight carriers primarily deliver during business working hours (between 8am-6pm Mon-Fri) and there is an expectation that you will be available to receive. If you are not available you are likely to face redelivery charges. Standard UK pallet delivery are usually 2-3 working days.  For a pallet delivery the carrier would drop the pallet from the van to kerbside with a tail lift, you are responsible to move it from there. The driver is not required to take a pallet into your premises. The drivers are not our employees and are bound by the terms of their respective employers. Additional charges may be added for certain postcode areas including Scottish Highlands and islands. This list is an example and is not exhuastive. We do not accept any liability for any delays with delivery, loss or damage once items have been collected by the carrier.  Please contact us if you require additional support. 

Trade Returns Policy By using this website you confirm that you are doing so in the course of business and not as a consumer and have authority to bind any business on whose behalf you use this website.
No returns will be accepted and no credit will be allowed for previously undiscovered defects or discrepancies in description. This does not affect any statutory rights that you may have to the extent that such rights are not excluded or limited under these terms and conditions.

Regardless of the classification of the stock parcel on sale, all merchandise sold on this site is sold without any form of warranty or guarantee.
Full liability for any future issues with all merchandise will sit with the purchaser from this site and not Discount Depot UK/JTMR Group LTD. As a perspective purchaser you need to consider these facts before Buying and reflect this in any purchase that you make. Unless specifically covered by another term set out within these terms and conditions you will NOT be compensated if products develop a fault after resale by you to a third party or during future usage by you.
